Bundle up folks! Snowcat Ridge, Florida’s first-ever snow park, will be coming to Dade City this November 2020. The park will offer snow-tubing hill, alpine-like village, and 10,000 square foot snow dome.
Snow tubing hills will be 400 feet long and 60 feet tall with a “magic carpet lift” that will transport riders and their snow tubes to the top of the hill. Guests can ride in single, tandem, or 6-person family tube to slide down the snow-covered slope!
After hours on the snow tubing hill, rider can make snowman or snow castle with “REAL” snow inside the snow dome. They will have child-sized version of the snow hill inside the snow dome.
While the guests are spending times at Snowcat Ridge, they can experience the Alpine village vibe and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate, grab some bites to eat, and sit around the bonfires.
During the evening, Snowcat Ridge will be having light show at both snow hill and inside the snow dome unlike you’ve seen anywhere else in Florida.
After living in the Midwest for 33 years, I know this will be awesome to see since during Christmas time with all the lights outside and snow together, it actually make things brighter as it gives a glow feels. This is definitely something new for Florida especially those who never experience snow in their life time.
The new snow park will be open in November 2020. Keep in mind, this will be a seasonal park which will open up to 120 days annually. This is exciting experience for all ages.
