Disney has announced that D23 Expo will be moved from September 2021 to September 9-11, 2022 at Anaheim Convention Center.  This update was shared via a tweet on the official D23 Twitter account.

D23 Expo is a popular fan convention for all things Disney that typically held every other year in the summer.  This is Disney platform to share announcements and new details about its upcoming film, TV and theme park project.  In the past, projects like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World as well the upcoming Tron coaster at Magic Kingdom were first announced at the expo.

For 2022 edition, Disney will share plans for the company’s 100th anniversary.  No other details were shared at this time.  The last D23 Expo was held in 2019.

I’m exciting to see what’s the plan for 100th Anniversary as we know there’s a lot of projects that’s already happening now at Disney parks and the productions have already either started or in developing to be started soon for both TV and films.  I hope to be able to attend at least one D23 Expo sometime in the future.  It’s such an exciting time for Disney fan like myself.  It seems so far away.  It will come by sooner than you think.
