SeaWorld Orlando is preparing for the second year of Howl-O-Scream Orlando. The adult-oriented after-hours event will be kicking off September 9th. Howl-O-Scream will be running on selected nights until October 31st.
“Captain Revenge” house will be back and taken into another level and calling it “Captain’s Revenge – Drowned in Darkness”. The guests will be venturing aboard an ill-fated pirate ship that might not be so willing to let them get back to shore.
Here’s the full walkthrough POV of Captain Revenge from last year by Attraction Magazine.
Captain’s Revenge — Drowned in Darkness, a “newly-reimagined” version of last year’s Captain’s Revenge house, will have visitors venturing aboard an ill-fated pirate ship that might not be so willing to let them get back to shore. According to the description on the website, “You may just find yourself a permanent part of this crew, driven mad by a cursed treasure and doomed to face the fury of the sea.”
Cut Throat Cove is a new scare zone which is set on the site of a “horrific shipwreck” that has a similar theme to Captain Revenge. SeaWorld is also bringing back the pirate-themed bar, Longshoremen Tavern.
SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream featured four haunted houses and four scare zones last year. The park has promised “more houses, more haunts and more shows.” Additional details will be shared in the coming months.
Spooktacular, kid-friendly Halloween event, will run on Saturdays and Sundays from September 10 through October 31. The daytime event will include activities such as character meet and greet as well trick-or-treating.
