Project Gravy Boat

Holiday World

Holiday World has kicked their teaser campaign into high gear with the launch of a new teaser website related to their 2024 attraction, all about the Good Gravy Company. A little something to enjoy before the big announcement, which is expected to take place on August 1st.

What’s it going to be?  Rumor saying some sort of Boomerrang coaster?  Based on the picture, it’s going to be located at the former “Pilgrim Plunge” that was removed in 2014 due being closed for maintenance more often than it was open.

Fast & Furious Themed Coaster Coming to
Universal Studios Hollywood

The long-rumored roller coaster for the Fast and Furious franchise has officially received the green light in the latest Universal Studios Hollywood expansion.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art ride system uniquely created to bring guests within the Fast & Furious universe, Universal Studios Hollywood states the new coaster will feature “innovative and technological achievements never previously employed to this all-new thrill ride”.

The Fast and Furious ride joins Super Nintendo World, Jordan Peele’s Nope sets on the Studio Tour, and events like Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood that put you in the movies. We can’t wait to join Dom’s family on the west caost!

Stranger Things 4 coming to
Halloween Horror Nights

Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights will be a little stranger this year at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. The hit Netflix show “Stranger Things” will return to the after-hours scare fest for an all-new haunted house.
Universal Destinations & Experiences
“Stranger Things” is the third house announced for this year’s event. Last month, Universal revealed that the event would have a house based on “The Last of Us” video game. The lineup, so far, also includes a “Chucky” house, which was announced last fall.

Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast
Soft Opening at Universal Orlando Resort

Villain-Con Minion Blast, a new interactive blaster game attraction, has entered technical rehearsal mode at Universal Studios Florida. Based on the “Minions” film franchise, Minion Blast will put visitors in the middle of Villain-Con as they compete for a chance to be the next member of the supervillain group the Vicious 6.

Universal has described the attraction as an interactive blaster game experience on a moving walkway. When visitors enter the attraction, they’ll be transported to the show floor of Villain-Con. The queue will feature gadgets, vehicles, fashion accessories and other items that villains will want to use to pull off their “heinous schemes.”

Universal Orlando Resort

Since Minion Blast is in technical rehearsals, not all features were operational. Visitors will eventually be able to sync their blasters to the Universal Orlando app and unlock other features in the attraction, including more powers and special missions.

Villain-Con Minion Blast will officially open sometime this summer in the all new Minion Land. The land will includes a new restaurant called Minion Cafe, the Bake My Day bakery and the Illumination character meet-and-greet location.

The Residence: Home For The Holidays coming to
Busch Gardens Tampa's Howl-O-Scream 2023

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is bringing back The Residence: Home for the Holidays house from last year Howl-O-Scream. The Residence: Home for the Holidays will be set in a suburban home where merriment has turned murderous.
The Residence: Home for the Holidays joins previously announced houses such as Stranglewood Estate and D.H. Baggum’s Circus of Fear. Howl-O-Scream, which is a separately ticketed event, will run select nights from Sept. 8 through Oct. 31.

Treasure Hunt: The Ride POV

Treasure Hunt the Ride is opening on July 22nd at Monterey’s historic Cannery Row.  The dark ride is a pirate-themed, interactive adventure where guests are transported through a newly discovered system of caverns located beneath the Cannery Row. Guests learn the legend of the notorious pirate Captain Hippolyte Bouchard and his crew of scallywags who hid their treasure in the caverns. Armed with interactive “Treasure Collector” devices, guests will collect the treasures they discover while fighting off the ghosts of Captain Bouchard and his Skeleton Crew and avoiding the giant Kraken!  Thank you @Attractions360 for sharing the experience so we can check it out!
