Get ready for some exciting news coming in 2025! Kings Island’s Soak City Water Park is set to introduce an amazing attraction called RiverRacers, which will be Ohio’s very first dual-racing water coaster, promising a unique blend of thrills and chills. Alongside this, there will be seven brand-new water slides designed specifically for kids in the fun-filled, riverside-themed play area known as Splash River Junction. To top it all off, the new section will feature hundreds of loungers and chairs, giving visitors plenty of options to relax in both sunny spots and shaded areas.
RiverRacers
Get ready for an exhilarating ride as you race down the river with your family and friends on the brand-new RiverRacers, Ohio’s first-ever side-by-side dual racing water coaster, set to make waves at Kings Island’s Soak City Water Park in the summer of 2025.
Buckle up for an adrenaline-pumping adventure! Riders will hop into side-by-side rafts at the starting point, where a conveyor belt launches them into an exciting 33-foot drop at a steep 47 degrees. With massive windows allowing competitors to catch a glimpse of their position, the water coaster hits a thrilling speed of 30 mph. As the rafts plunge down and begin to ascend, powerful water jets soak the riders, propelling them into a dark tunnel that dazzles with vibrant lighting effects. The competition heats up as racers navigate through a series of twists and turns, culminating in an open-air slingshot that whips them around a sharp 180-degree turn, leading to a breathtaking final mega drop that will determine who crosses the finish line first!
